Preschool Ministries at Second
Jesus said, "Let the children come to me." Our Preschool Ministry Team welcomes infants through Kindergartners as they take their first steps into God's loving community. We want the children to know that God is good and that He loves them so that as they grow they will be receptive to the transforming love of Christ.
Sunday at Second
Sunday School 9:45-10:45 am
Classes for infants through kindergarteners are led by trained teachers who guide children to learn Bible truths through developmentally appropriate experiences, activities and curriculum.
Worship Care 8:45-9:45 and 11:00-12N
This ministry provides childcare, led by volunteer members, for infants through kindergarteners during both worship services. Children, age three though kindergarten, will participate in either a Children's Sermon in the Worship Service or a Worship Builders Service in the preschool area each Sunday.
Worship Builders 11:00
This ministry provides a way for children to transition into the worship routine as they hear Bible stories, learn to pray, and sing praises to God.
Wednesday at Second
Children's Choirs 6:20-6:55
Children, age three through kindergarten, learn to sing praises to God and also prepare to share their songs with others in worship services and in other special events.
Wee Praise 6:40-7:20
The Wee Praise ministry helps families build their faith through music. Designed for infants through two year olds and an adult who loves them, each week we praise God as we sing songs, dance, play instruments and learn a special Bible verse.
Mission Friends 6:55-7:30
In Mission Friends children learn that God loves all people in all countries and that missionaries are at work in the world to help people with their physical and spiritual needs.
